In order to emphasize the ability of our infrastructure to cope with both parking and EV charging challenges, Book & Plug changes name and becomes WattPark.
CIAC INTERNATIONAL has choosen WATTPARK solution to be implemented in its VERTPOM energy management project which starts in 2018. It will take place in the Haut de France region. It involves the set up of 1000 WattPark charge points. Here’s the official press release in french.
Une innovation Green Tech à la Française : VERTPOM accueille la borne BOOK and PLUG
VERTPOM est un Projet d’investissement d’avenir (PIA) validé et accompagné par l’ADEME, dont le coordonnateur et pilote est la société CIAC INTERNATIONAL TECHNOLOGIES. Ses partenaires sont : le gestionnaire du réseau de Distribution (multi fluide) GAZELEC de PERONNE et l’université de Picardie Jules VERNE. Ce PIA est en cours de déploiement sur le territoire des HAUTS DE FRANCE et notamment sur les villes de Péronne, St Quentin et Amiens.
Le projet VERTPOM (Véritable énERgie du Territoire POsitif et Modulaire) est une création de richesse tant sur le plan environnemental que sociétal grâce à la création de la banque de l’Energie : VERTPOM BANK et s’inscrit dans la Green Tech française. Cet ensemble d’outils numériques, cyber-sécurisé, virtualisé, et, basé sur un simulateur et des algorithmes d’Intelligence Artificielle assurera l’efficacité énergétique du territoire.
CIAC-IT, coordonnateur et Pilote du Projet VERTPOM, a choisi BOOK and PLUG comme système de recharge pour les véhicules électriques et a présenté notre produit lors du salon SMARTENERGIES 2018. De nombreux visiteurs professionnels ont pu découvrir tout l’intérêt de BOOK and PLUG dans un projet concret de SMART CITIES à la Française.
Ce premier projet de plus d’un millier de bornes ouvre la voie pour un développement naturel de BOOK and PLUG dans les Collectivités et les Entreprises Locales de Distribution (ELD). Elles représentent un important potentiel de déploiement de bornes.
Book & Plug has collected 434.000 € from 500 investors via crowdfunding platform Wiseed. It adds to the 540 000 € already raised from private investors in 2018.
All In Factory, thanks to its Book & Plug project, was invited to attend Consumer Electronic Show 2019 in Las Vegas to introduce its innovative charging system for Electric Vehicles. All booth expense are being paid by the Ile de France region. Book & Plug was selected among hundreds of projects to go with 34 other start up.
WattPark is featured on the Essonne business magazine. It’s in dozen of cities of this area that we will implement the WattPark solution for the test phase startinbg february 2019.
On may 10th, All In Factory has signed a cooperation agreement with brazilian mobility specialist PLUGGO (http://www.pluggo.com.br) in order to study cooperation means to implement electric mobility in Sao Paulo, one of the largest city in America Latina.
